BUS STATIONS
ILFOV COUNTY

STATUS:

SF (Feasibility studies)

The project for the construction of bus stations in the city of Măgurele, Ilfov County, aims to improve public transport infrastructure by creating modern, safe, and accessible spaces, including for people with disabilities. Currently, public transport in the area faces challenges such as the lack of covered stations, insufficient facilities, and the absence of digital information panels, reducing the system’s attractiveness. The high dependence on personal vehicles contributes to increased traffic congestion and pollution, negatively impacting residents’ quality of life. Through this project, the city aims to transform public transport into a viable alternative, encouraging sustainable mobility and minimizing environmental impact.

The new bus stations will feature a modern design that integrates harmoniously into the urban landscape. They will be equipped with digital panels displaying real-time information about routes and schedules, enhancing efficiency and travel predictability. Additionally, the project will emphasize accessibility, ensuring ease of use for people with disabilities, the elderly, and parents with strollers. By modernizing the stations and improving waiting conditions, this initiative will contribute to increasing the number of public transport users and easing urban traffic.

The implementation of this project will bring significant benefits to the community by enhancing passenger comfort and safety, reducing road congestion, and promoting a more sustainable lifestyle.
